Lunch, Dinner or Both? Choosing the Right Tiffin Plan
By Owala's Kitchen · · 2 min read

Most people start with lunch because that is where the office takes up the day. But for many, dinner is the harder meal. Here is a simple way to decide what to order.
Lunch only
Best if you are at the office or working from home and cook dinner yourself. Lunch is the meal people most often skip or replace with something heavy and expensive. Delivered fresh at midday, it is the easiest place to start.
Dinner only
Best if you get home late, live alone, or do not want to cook after a long day. A lighter dinner of dal, sabzi and roti is also a good alternative to late-night takeaway.
Both lunch and dinner
Best if you do not cook at all. The cost is double, but so is the saving on delivery-app orders. Check whether the plan treats each meal separately, so you can skip one without losing the other.
How to decide
- Count how many meals a week you currently buy outside.
- Pick the meal you buy outside most often and start with that one.
- Add the second meal after a week if you find yourself still ordering.
- Choose a plan length that matches your actual working days.
Start small
You do not have to commit to a month. Try a single meal first, then a short plan, then extend. At Owala's Kitchen, meals are priced per meal, lunch or dinner, and choosing both simply doubles it. Message us on WhatsApp to try one meal.
